Fall Butterfly

My first coloring attempt in a couple months.  I choose a small object and loved doing it.  This beautiful butterfly is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I choose to use warm fall colors and changed this spring butterfly into a fall butterfly.

Well, this simple card has taken me two days to put together but I have had a great time doing it.  I think I am getting into the swing of have a little one around again so I might get some crafting time in. =)  I did use a precolored image for this card, it feels like forever since I have colored.  This sweet little worm is from Doodle Pantry.  He is part of a set called Spooky Worms.  The sentiments are also with the set and perfect for this image.

This is the inside of my card.  I have no idea where the pumpkin brad came from - I found him in a pile of goodies. LOL

Happy News!

It feels so good to be back in my craft room.  The computer is back and I didn't loose anything.  That was a HUGE relief!!  However, our youngest son and his daughter are living with us full time.  He works the second shift so it's around in the afternoon and evening.  Our granddaughter is 4 years old.  She is a wonderful girl - with tons of energy.  So I will not be able to squeeze time alone to craft.  But, having already raised two boys I understand how quickly time flies.  She will only be young once and I am gladly changing my craft time for time at the park, reading books, and playing Barbies.  I will keep missing you all but I am hoping to get into a groove and get some time to craft.  Until then huge crafting hugs!! 

Sad News!!

My laptop died the other day. =(  They think the back light has gone out?!?!  So it has been sent off to get fixed.  I was told that it will probably be about a month.  But, he said, "if you get it sooner be happy".  So I will be MIA for a while.  The worrisome news is that I rarely back up.  So I might loose everything.  =( !!!!  So keep your fingers crossed for me and take a few minutes and back your computer up.  My hubby asks me all the time if I back up - my response, "Oh yeah, I need to do that".  Well, now I am nervous!!  I will be back as soon as I can.  But, I might start back on some quilling now that all my digital stamps are in the mail somewhere.
