Feeling like fall!

Every day I look at the calendar I am amazed how quickly time flies.  Fall is almost over already.  It feels like it just started.  We have had a beautiful fall in Iowa this year.  I am sorry to see it end.  Today I have a card I made using the new digital image from 2 Cute Ink.  He is called Pumpkin Mouse.  He is just darling.

Penny and her pup - new from 2 Cute Ink

Check out this adorable new image from 2 Cute Ink!! Isn't she just darling!  I must have thought I had a life time to create today.  I paper pieced the image with two different patterned paper, yes, even the dogs little sweater and scarf.  Then I made the card into a shaker card.  As I am cutting and cutting, and then more cutting I started to question my planning.  LOL  Ever been there.  Oh well, she turned out cute and I finally did finish her.

Fall Blessings

Happy Fall to everyone!  I love this time of the year.  So many pretty colors and the bugs are all dying.  Today I made a card using the Doodle Pantry set called Pumpkin.  I used the pre-colored image.  Not much crafting time but I still enjoyed what time I had.  The sentiment also comes in the set.
I took a side view of the card so you can see I printed the image three times and cut out the parts to make the pumpkin 3D.  It is hard to see in the above picture but very pretty on the card.

Fall Butterfly

My first coloring attempt in a couple months.  I choose a small object and loved doing it.  This beautiful butterfly is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I choose to use warm fall colors and changed this spring butterfly into a fall butterfly.

Feels so good to create again!

Well, this simple card has taken me two days to put together but I have had a great time doing it.  I think I am getting into the swing of have a little one around again so I might get some crafting time in. =)  I did use a precolored image for this card, it feels like forever since I have colored.  This sweet little worm is from Doodle Pantry.  He is part of a set called Spooky Worms.  The sentiments are also with the set and perfect for this image.
This is the inside of my card.  I have no idea where the pumpkin brad came from - I found him in a pile of goodies. LOL

Happy News!

It feels so good to be back in my craft room.  The computer is back and I didn't loose anything.  That was a HUGE relief!!  However, our youngest son and his daughter are living with us full time.  He works the second shift so it's around in the afternoon and evening.  Our granddaughter is 4 years old.  She is a wonderful girl - with tons of energy.  So I will not be able to squeeze time alone to craft.  But, having already raised two boys I understand how quickly time flies.  She will only be young once and I am gladly changing my craft time for time at the park, reading books, and playing Barbies.  I will keep missing you all but I am hoping to get into a groove and get some time to craft.  Until then huge crafting hugs!!
