Let Freedom Ring

Last day of June? Does that seem possible? Crazy huh!! This will probably be the last 4th of July card I will make I say probably because you just never know. =) This beautiful stamp and sentiment came from Doodle Pantry. The set is called Let Freedom Ring. The layout is from the Dutch Dare Challenge. At Little Red Wagon and Party Time Tuesday they both wanted to see July 4th cards.

Cherries for you

Happy Summer! WooHoo It's here finally! =) The fun card I have to show you today is using the digital stamp set called Sentimental Fruit from Clear Dollar Stamps. Love how the cherries are in the shapes of hearts. The layout for this card came from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. At Crafty Creations and Stampin' Sisters in Christ they both wanted to see a thank you card. I thought this sentiment was perfect for that.

Stars and Stripes Birthday

I don't know anyone with a July 4th birthday so I thought I'd take advantage and just make a boy bithday card with the stars and stripes. This cute little guy is called Patriotic Turtle from Doodle Pantry. This is a really neat set. You will love all the options! The layout for this card came from Card Patterns. Happy Birthday Dude!

Happy Saturday everyone! This is the hardest kind of card for me to make - CAS. I just hate them! I love how they look for everyone else but I just hate the ones I make. Just not my style. I decided to join in the Dutch Dare and Clear It Out Challenge because that is what they both wanted to see. The layout is from Crazy 4 Challenge. At 2 Sisters they wanted to see a fairy.
At All Sorts Challenge they wanted to see lemon and lime colors. At Sweet Stampin' they wanted to see something old and something new. The stamp is old he is Dude from Paper Makeup Stamps but the paper is new. At Crafts 4 Eternity they are having a sporty theme. New Friends

Happy Friday everyone!! Today I made a card with the adorable stamp set Mud Piggy from Doodle Pantry. This set was new last month but I hadn't gotten the opportunity to use it yet. What a totally adorable face! The little butterfly in front of her snout is a punch from Martha Stewart. They look like they want to meet each other. The layout for this card came from Digi Doodle Shop Challenge. At CCEE they wanted to see some pink.=)
At Crafty Catz they wanted to see us use a charm. Mine is the dragonfly hanging on the middle flower. Patriotic Sheep?

Only at Doodle Pantry! =) This adorable little guy is one of Laurie's creations and always brings a smile to my face. The set is called Patriotic Sheep. The set comes with this image of the sheep holding the stars and the three stars seperately, it also comes with 7 sentiments. The layout for this card came from Cute Card Thursday. At Pals Paper Arts and Cards for Men they both wanted to see stars.

Free Image from Tellen's Place

What an adorable image from Tellen's Place. The best part is that she is free. At the Tellen's Place challenge this week they are hosting an anything goes week with any of the images from Tellen's Place. So it works out perfect they are offering a free image. The layout for this round easel card is from Sweet Stop Challenge.
At Birthday Sundaes they wanted to see a shaped birthday card. At Paper Sundaes they wanted to see an easel card. This was my first attempt at a round easel card. It was really easy give it a try someday. Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a crafty day!

Bloom

Are you having a nice weekend? It is a beautiful day here in Iowa today. The card I made below is using the layout from the Come & Get It Challenge. The rose and leaves are from a stamp set called "Roses to Die for" from Clear Dollar Stamps. They also offer a die cut set that matches perfectly with the roses and leaves it is called "Blooming Bouquest Die". It saved so much time on cutting. The sentiment is a separate stamp called "Thanks for helping me Bloom".
At Corrosive Challenge they wanted to see a ribbon and bow. At All Sorts Challenge they wanted to see 3 designer papers, 3 ribbons, and one flower. At Totally Gorjuss they wanted to see pearls and swirls. Finally over at Charisma Cardz they wanted to see pink and green. I thought that those colors were perfect for this card. For my card this month I used the stamp set called Scripture Children. I just love the color combo pink and black for girls. The layout for this card came from Truely Scrumptious challenge. Have a look at this sweet face!

Isn't this just the sweetest face Panda you have ever seen? All the animals over at Doodle Pantry have the best expressions on their faces. They are all just so adorable. This little sweet guy is from a set called Plush Panda. This image comes with four different sentiments. This card is going to the Send A Smile 4 Kids so I didn't use any sentiment.
The layout for this card came from Sketch Saturday. At the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge this week they wanted to see a Teddy Bear or any other animal. I just found this blog not too long ago and I have really enjoyed making cards for them. I am going to send off an envelope with cards this week. Maybe you could check them out and join in on their mission. At Crazy 4 Challenges they wanted to see twine, floss, etc. I used Scrapper's Floss to tie my buttons. Fancy Folds for Kite Flying

I everyone! Hope all is well. I had the chance to create another card today so I jumped right on it. I decided to combine several challenges and this is what I came up with. At CCEE they wanted to see a kite on our project. The kite is from Digi Doodle Shop it is part of a summer set. At the Digi Doodle challenge they wanted to see stitching and so did CRAFT. At Clear It Out they wanted to see paper piecing.
At Crafty Catz challenge they wanted to see a fancy fold. I combined that with the challenge over at Paper Playtime. They wanted to see a Z fold. Below you can see the card open.

The card I have to show you today I am really excited about. Do you ever have a project you are working on that turns out better than what is in your head? Well, this card did for me. It is just a darling scene. I pick you to be my friend. How sweet is that. To make this card I used three stamp sets from Clear Dollar Stamps. The large boy bunny and sentiment came from one of the brand new sets called Bunny Kids. Now the wagon and puppies came from two different sets that are being retired, so if you want them you better act quickly! The wagon is from a set called Wagon Wishes. The puppies are from a set called Fresh From the Farm. The second set has different stamps you can put into the wagon. It really is fun!
The sketch for this card came from Pals Paper Arts. At Dutch Dare they wanted to see a boy project and at Card Makin' Mamas they wanted to see a card for a child. At Stampin' B's they wanted to see a border punch. At My Time to Craft they wanted to see more than one image. Finally, over at Creative Inspirations they wanted to see blue, green, and one color. Digital Release day for Clear Dollar Stamps

Yeah, It's digi release day! This month Clear Dollar Stamps has a lot of really fun digital releases you are going to love. The set I used for this card is called Vegetable Garden. Don't you just love fresh veggies from a homegrown garden? There is nothing in the world like it! With this set you receive 5 different veggies, 6 different sentiments and the stamp to give you credit for your project. We have three pepper plants right now growing in our garden. We have already taken peppers off of the plants. =) At For Fun Challenge they wanted to see a summer card. At Digital Tuesday they wanted to see a digital image and gigham something. At Try It On Tuesday they wanted to see a tag. Finally over at Dutch Dare they wanted to see 3 designer papers, 2 embellishments, and one image. My peppers are the same image the back one is just fipped. One of the fun things that you can do with digital images. Hippo-Ray Dancing Bookmark

Now who doesn't think a ballerina Hippo is just the cutest thing ever? Doesn't this just make you smile?! It sure did me. The stamps over at Doodle Pantry always do that to me. This adorable dancing hippo is from a stamp set called "Hippo-Ray" it was just released this month. I made her into a corner bookmark for the Crafty Catz challenge. The color combo came from Stamptacular Sunday.
At My Time to Craft they wanted to see wildlife - I will admit it isn't the normal wildlife image that comes to mind. At Crafty Pad they wanted to see stripes. U R A CLSC

A special Father's Day card for a special guy in my life. My Grandpa. He is in a nursing home now and loves getting cards from me. I know he will enjoy this. I used two different stamp sets for this card. The sentiment "Grandfather" came from a set called For Our Men the car and the street signs came from a set called Cruisin' Classic. They are both from Clear Dollar Stamps. The sketch for this card came from Midnight Madness Challenge. At Try It On Tuesday they wanted to see wierd and wonderful. I used just a whole lot of silver doo dads to the card and am counting them all wierd and wonderful.

A Tweet Tune

When I saw the challenge over at Crafty Creation I knew I had to join in. They are hosting a song challenge. The song is "Over the Rainbow" from the Wizard Of Oz. My card has the bluebird on it - yes, the very bluebird from the song. =) He needed a little bath after flying over the rainbow. The sentiment reminded me of the four characters skipping down the yellow brick road whistling and singing. See I had fun with this card. This adorable bird is from the amazing Doodle Pantry. The set is called Bird Bath Joy.

Funny Furry Friend

I am having such a great day crafting and cleaning up my room. Funny, the things that turn up when you start cleaning. =) I made this card for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge. Wedding Cake

Happy Weekend! This weekend I have decided to make it a crafting weekend. I do have some flowers outside that if I need a break I will go and plant some flowers in pots. What a fun weekend!
