Treat Ornaments

Do you need a quick treat idea? These little cuties can be made in just a few quick minutes - no joking! They are called Diamond Shaped Ornaments from Split Coast Stampers. The little tags are made from a die set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Designer Label Die Set. The stamps are also from Clear Dollar Stamps. The stamps are called Christmas Inchies.

You can see they are a different shape but they are really cute. They are big enough to fit a couple pieces of candy inside. I am going to put them on top of gifts and write the To and From on the back of the tag. These are the challenges I am entering these into:

Birthday Shoes

Hi All, my mom is a HUGE shoe freak so this will be put aside just for her. She always wants all the shoe cards I make so I will hide this one from her. :) I know she has a pair of shoes very similar to these with the silver heels. The strap bow shoe image is from Bugaboo Stamps the perfect sentiment is from Doodle Pantry the Quirky Ostrich set. At the Catch the Bug challenge they wanted to see silver, black, and bling. The layout for this card is from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
At Birthday Sundaes they are having an open birthday challenge. At Totally Gorjuss they wanted to see some sparkle. Finally, over at Card Makin' Mamas they wanted to see a sentiment on the front of our card. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

Ho Ho Ho

I can't believe the Christmas season is already here. To celebrate today I choose to use one of the birds from the Branch Birds with the Santa Accessories. I always love the animals from Doodle Pantry. The faces just make me so happy and this bird surely does that. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone of my 5.5 X 5.5 inch size cards and made my first Center Step card. I had a blast doing it too! At the Come and Get It challenge that is what they wanted to see this week. I just about passed it up and I'm really glad I didn't. They are really easy to do so give it a try this week.
At CRAFT this week they wanted to see an unusual Christmas card. That is one reason I choose this summer bird image and thought it would be perfect to color him the summer green color. At Stampin' Sisters in Christ they wanted to see a bird. Stamptacular Sunday challenge they wanted to see a Christmas project. Then finally over at 2 Sisters they wanted to see any holiday. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

I thought I would break away today from Thanksgiving and Christmas cards. We are always needing boy cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids so today I added one to the stack of cards. Get Well?

I gotta tell you I was chuckling to myself the whole time I was making this card. My husband has a friend that was just diagnosed as a Type I diabetic. He is in the hospital now getting regulated. I wanted to make an adult get well card. I knew right away I wanted to use one of the nurse images from Bugaboo Stamps. They are all so funny. I was surprised at the image he picked out. This one is called Nurse Margaret - Joking. It must be a guy thing when he saw this one he got a big smile and said "that's the one!". That made me laugh too. The snaping of the rubber gloves makes all men nervous I think. =) I know his friend will love it too!
The layout for this card came from Tuesday Morning Sketches. Over at My Time to Craft they wanted to see a get well card. Thanks for stopping by. Can you tell I had today off from work? I had a wonderful crafting day!

Christmas Card for the Pastor

My Mother-in-law always requests special cards for their Pastor. I always love to use this Assemble Together stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps. This also comes in a digital set which is called Assemble Together Digital Image. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from a set called Antique Ornaments also from Clear Dollar Stamps. I know she will be asking soon for the card so I thought this time I would be ready for her.
These are the challenges I am submitting this card into:
Hand-Stamped Sentiments - Winter Wonderland
Papertake Weekly - Christmas
Midnight Madness - Sketch
Daisy Doodle - Christmas
Cards For Men - Fancy folds
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!! =)

Quirky Turkey for Thanksgiving

Are you as shocked as I am about the calander?!? Wow, I really need to keep up with time. We have been away working and then I really loose track of my days. Well, it's already Thanksgiving week so to celebrate I made a card using the totally adorable Quirky Turkey from Doodle Pantry. I just love how he looks like he is dancing! Laurie does such a great job with the Quirky Collection I just love them all. I paper pieced him all together which is so much fun to do and really easy when it is digital. Just run several different pieces of paper through your printer then the hard decision is what paper to use for what part.
These are the challenges I am submitting this card into:
The Pink Elephant - Thanksgiving
Paper Playtime - Must have a sentiment
Come & Get It - Sketch
Card Makin' Mamas - Thanksgiving
Pattie's Creations - Thanksgiving
Raise The Bar - Time for a feast
Clear It Out - Orange and brown
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the week. Christmas will be here before we know what happened. =)

New Digital Stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps

Yeah, it's digi day at Clear Dollar Stamps! We have lots of fun new stamp sets available this month and you will "need" them all believe me! The first card I have to show you today is using the "Twelve Days Of Christmas" stamp. All of the images from the Twelve days on there. Go through the song in your head and you will see them all. If you are like me though you will have to start on the last verse of the song. It starts - or ends with 12 Drummers drumming, 11 Pippers Pipping, 10 Lords a leaping, 9 Ladies dancing, etc.
Did you see them all? Now, make sure you sing the whole song so it is out of your head. Lol. The next card I have for you is using the "I Believe!" stamp. Isn't this fun too, great for a childs card. The jingle bells on the side of the card even make noise. I purchased them at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section.

Now, if you want to see all the new digital stamps being released by Clear Dollar Stamps you will want to hop on over to the Clearly iStamp blog. Lori shows all the stamps right there and the links to all the designers that used those stamps to make a project. Have a great time doing that! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the week!

Blog Hop for the Digital Group at Clear Dollar Stamps

Have you been blog hopping with the Digital Stamp design team from Clear Dollar Stamps? If you have come from Dawn's blog than you are in the right place. If not, you will surely want to start over at the Clearly iStamp blog. The design team for digital stamps got together and decided we wanted to do a fun hop with one of the great new stamp sets from Clear Dollar Stamps. The set is called "Year Round Calendar". As you can see I choose the month "July".
I have a son with a birthday in July so I had to make a decision to make a July 4th card or a birthday card. You can see what even won out. =) Don't tell him. To keep on hoping you will want to go to Linda's blog and see what fun thing she created with the month of August. Thanks for stopping by and make sure you leave me a comment because Lori is giving away two sets of the "Year Round Calendar" set and you don't want to miss out!

Blog Hop for Doodle Pantry

Our first blog hop ever! How fun! We are showing off the new set "12 Days of Christmas". If you have come from Lorie A's blog than you are on the right track. If not, you will want to start over at the Doodle Pantry challenge blog. This set really is amazing and you won't want to miss any of the fun creations the design team has come up with. With this set you get so many images and so many sentiments it is crazy! I choose day 5. The only reason is - when I was a little girl we sang this song at our Chrsitmas show and I had to hold the sign for "5 Golden Rings". I remember being so nervous that I would forget to hold up my sign at the right time. Everything went just fine at the concert. This brings back a lot of fun memories.
Now to continue on the hop you will want to go to Kristine's blog to see what fun creation she came up with. Remember to leave me a comment because Laurie is giving away two of these sets free so you won't want to miss out. Have a great weekend and come and join in the challenge fun at Doodle Pantry too. You will receive a free digital set just for joining in the fun!
