Dahlia Wedding card

The new Dahlia digital stamp set from Doodle Pantry is so fun to color up.  This is the second time I have used it already this month.  Plus it is so versatile.  The Wedding sentiment is from a set called Love Sentiments.  I had a lot of fun with all the purples.

Water challenge over at 2 Cute Ink Challenges

Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  Today we are starting a new challenge over at the 2 Cute Ink Challenge Blog.  This challenge is all about "Water".  As you can see by my card it doesn't have to be a lot of water just so we can see water.  I felt a little weird making a card about water and not using blue but this sure does work for the challenge and I just couldn't make a ladybug card with out the red and black.  This little cutie is "Puddle Bug Ladybug".   I hope you will come on over and join in the fun!

Happy Tuesday!  Next Monday is Memorial Day in the United States.  It is a time when we remember those that have passed away and when we remember our veterans.  This card is going to my Dad, thanking his for his service many years ago.  I know he will like it.  The image is "Owl you need is love" from 2 Cute Ink.  The sentiment is from a set by Doodle Pantry called "Patriotic Turtle".  There is plenty of time to make a card for Monday and thank someone for their service to our country.

New stamps at Doodle Pantry

There are new stamp sets being released today over at Doodle Pantry!  Today Laurie is releasing four new digital sets and two older sets that are now colored.  For my card I used two of the new sets.  The flower is part of the "Dahlia" set.  The flower also comes colored but I colored my own to match my paper.  The scripture if from the  new set called "Stand in Faith".  So many beautiful new scriptures to use for any card.  Laurie is also offering a sale for Memorial.  Starting today and ending May 25 she is offering 20% off the entire store.  Gotta love a great sale!  Keep in mind Laurie also has several sets that are free with purchase so make sure you add those sets to you order!

Big Birthday Wishes

Happy Friday!  Today I have a birthday card to show you.  I dug out another old Sizzix die, Birthday Cake with Candle.  Dusted it off and got cutting.  The "Big Wishes" underneath the birthday cake is from Doodle Pantry, that set is called Birthday Bash.

I see the stars...

WooHoo!  I got mail today.  I received two new stamp sets from Our Daily Bread.  I won a $25.00 gift certificate from their store and had such a tough time deciding what sets I wanted most.  I finally decided on the sets How Sweet the Sound and How Great Thou Art.  The card below was made using a stamp from the How Great Thou Art.  Does this make you start singing?  It sure does me. I used an old Sizzix die to cut the star and then made a shaker box.  Lots of fun silver sparkle on this card.

Below is the inside of the card.  I used the star on the inside.  I'm wishing I would have put a star brad in the center or the star.  I'm going to try and pull it off and see if I can do that.  I think it needs a little silver on the inside.

These remind me of the beautiful flowers my youngest son gave me for Mother's Day.  They are yellow with pink tips - so pretty.  These beautiful roses are from Doodle Pantry.  The set is called Mini Rose Pot.  The butterfly is a new die I received in the mail from a friend that was tired of it.  I'll put it to use. =)

Another Day in Paradise!

Well, happy Tuesday already!  I hope your week is going good!  Today I have a fun card to show you.  This fun crab is from 2 Cute Ink.  The image is called Tropical Drink Crab. The sentiment is from the Beach/Crab Sentiment set.  I have added some clear flowers over the top of the blue paper flowers.

In this picture you can see the clear flowers a little better.  They add some "gloss" to the card but it is hard to see in a picture.  A fun card to brighten someones day.

Happy Monday!  Today we start another challenge over at the 2 Cute Ink Challenge blog!  WooHoo!!  Our challenge for these two weeks is "For the Birds".  I thought that was a fun idea.  All the design team received Nature Owl.  I love seeing how we all colored this cute image up differently.  The sentiment is from Doodle Pantry.  That set is called "Quirky Owl".  I love play on word sentiments.  I hope you will come on over and join in the fun!

Graduation card

Do you need a graduation card?  If so, Doodle Pantry has this beautiful set.  The set is called Arched Stone Doorway.  I just love the sentiment.  I really had a good time coloring this image.  I was kinda afraid of it at first but I am very glad I jumped in and went for it.  The set also comes with two different colored versions of the doorway if you don't feel like coloring.   I hope your weekend is off to a great start.

Chili Peppers Get Well

Do you need a fun get well card?  If so, this is the set to use.  How fun is this.  It will put a smile on anyones face.  I have a cousin that had surgery last week so this card is being sent to her tomorrow.  I know she will enjoy it.  The Chili Pepper set is from Doodle Pantry.  The set comes with 3 different kinds of peppers, 1 bunch of peppers, 9 sentiments, and 2 digital papers.  The pepper also come colored in red, green, and yellow.  I used the outlined version and colored my own.  I hope my cousin enjoys the card as much as I enjoyed making it for her.

Fun doings over at Doodle Pantry for May

Laurie has been finally taking some time for herself at Doodle Pantry.  We all need that and she totally deserves it.  But, she has been back at it for the month of May.  There is one brand new digital stamp set and it is called Cute Crawlies.  She recolored 3 older stamp sets and she also added a new SVG file.  My card below is using the Cute Crawlies set.  I used the adorable worm and LOVE the fun sentiment.  I dug out some old Sizzix dies and got cuttin.  My clouds are chalked in.  The grass is all cut out of scraps - gotta love that.  You will want to see all that is new happening over at Doodle Pantry for the month of May.
