Mad Scientist!

It's a big BEWARE of this glowing green goo.  This fun image is from Digital Delights, his name is Mad Scientist and the sentiment is from Ghoulish Sentiments.  I had a great time coloring him.  The dripping on the bottom of the card is a Martha Stewart punch.  Perfect for Halloween.  If you need any more inspiration it is Delightful Thursday so hop on over to the blog and see what the other gals have created for today.

Karleigh Sue Digitals!

Exciting news!!  Today I start on a design team.  Karleigh Sue Digi's.  They just opened up shop and I am excited to join her team.  At Karleigh Sue Digi's we are having a  monthly challenge.  Every month they will start on the 24th.  So from September 24th to October 23rd we are celebrating breast cancer awareness.  I have used the image "Cheer" it is at the Etsy store.  I have titled my card "cheering you on".  I would love for you come on over and join in the fun.  Show us your breast cancer awareness card or even project.

Guest Designer at Love To Create

It's a fun day for me today!  I am guest designer over at Love To Create!  For this challenge they want to see "fussy cuts".  That is so right up my alley.  I think I like cutting even more than coloring.  =)  We got to choose any image from their sponsor "Stamp Art Designs by Kathryne".  I picked this adorable stamp called "Owl-Ways Thinking of You".  I fell in love with those giant eyes!!  I printed the image on Watercolor paper, and the two different colors of brown cardstock.  I colored the eyes, beak, and feet using the watercolor paper.  I just counted and my owl is 5 layers high.  Oh yeah, I love to cut.  I hope you will come on over and join us this week at the Love to Create challenge!  I wanna see your fussy cutting!

Get the tools out

I love this tool set from Doodle Pantry.  All the men that are in my life are very handy with tools so this set is so perfect.  Plus I love a good pun and this sentiment is a great pun!  I used tin foil on my card just for a different look.  It was hard to get a decent picture with out a weird glare.  The brads are too perfect with this set.  This fun set is called Classic Tools and I think it is a must have for male cards.  Hop on over and check it out.

Happy Delightful Thursday to you all!  Today I have two scrapbook pages to show you.  This summer we took a day trip with the two granddaughters and went to the zoo in South Dakota.  We had a great day and here are two pages from the scrapbook.  I used several images from Digital Delights.  The first page below I used Jubbly Zebra and the palm tree is from the Jungle Buddies Accessory set.

Page two of the layout is below and that uses Jubbly Giraffe, Jubbly Monkey and another palm tree from the Jungle Buddies Accessory set.   

We had a great day and I had a lot of fun coloring up these cuties for the scrapbook which is already getting enjoyed by all.

Vintage Mixer

Do you remember a mixer like this?  I do, my grandmother was a wonderful cook and I remember helping or trying to help her with a mixer just like this.  It wasn't teal but it still brings back lots of fun memories.  This fun image is from Doodle Pantry.  The set is called Ageless Antiques.  This is a huge set with so many fun images it's a must have.  Right now Laurie is running this set free with any purchase, you won't want to miss out!

Mid Month Release at Doodle Pantry

Are you just as shocked as I am to look at the calendar?  This month is just flying by, but they all seem to for me these days.  Today over at Doodle Pantry Laurie has a Mid Month Release.  WooHoo!  She has 6 new sets and 1 SVG file release.  I got to work with Gift Monkey.  Isn't he a cutie.  He also comes colored with 10 digital papers, 6 images and 4 sentiments.  I chose the Christmas sentiment and colored the images to match.  I popped up the gifts so it looks like he is jumping out from the presents.  You can see all the new sets at the Doodle Pantry store.

I have no idea where this week has gone.  Ever happen to you?  I almost missed Delightful Thursday.  Today I have a card to show you using the Sunflower Arrangement from Digital Delights.  I have printed the image twice.  I cut out the sunflowers from the second image and layered them with pop dots. Such a perfect fall image.

It's about time!

Happy Sunday to all of you!  Hope your day is going great.  My feelings were all over the chart about this card.  When I was just starting with the ideas for this card I was excited, then as the card progressed I was getting disappointed.  Then finally as the end product came to be I am happy with the card.  Does that ever happen to you.  I guess it looks so good in my head and I can't seem to get that out sometimes.  But, I am happy with it now.  This beautiful antique clock is from Doodle Pantry.  The clock and sentiment are part of a new digital set called Ageless Antiques.  

I don't normally do this but I was afraid you couldn't see the acetate butterflies so I took another picture of the card laying flat.  They are being held on my brads.

It's Delightful Thursday!

Woo Hoo!  It's Delightful Thursday.  My week has all been off because of the holiday.  It doesn't feel like Thursday yet but it is.  Next week I will be back on track. =)  Today I have a card to show you that I used the new image Bee Afraid by Digital Delights.  The sentiment is also new and it is from a set called Wicked Sentiments.  This bee is just darling - great for a non-scary halloween card.  You can hop on over to the Digital Delights blog and see what the other designers have created for you today.

Anything Goes at 2 Cute Ink Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over at 2 Cute Ink Challenge.  This time we are hosting "anything goes".  We want to see what you are working on.  You don't have to use a 2 Cute Ink image but we sure would love to see them!  I have used "Harry Potter Owl" for my card.  This is a really fun set.  It also comes with a witch hat, a broom, and beakers bubbling with a brew.  I would love to see you pick this set up at the Etsy store and make a card with him.  He is a lot of fun.

New Release day at Doodle Pantry

Today is the 1st of September which means a new digital release at Doodle Pantry!  WooHoo!  This release has so many different fun sets you will flip.  I used the set Toothpaste and Toothbrush for my first project.  I thought it would make an amazing anniversary card for a fun couple.  This set comes colored in a lot of different colors plus a fun set of digital paper to match.  But, I always have to color mine on my own - it's my favorite part.  I hope you will hop on over to the Doodle Pantry store or blog and see all the different sets to start off your month with a bang!
