Snowy Thank You

Happy Friday.  Today I made a thank you card.  I purchased a new paper pack from BoBunny.  It is the Altitude Collection.  I love the purple and blue together.  I dug through my stash of die cuts.  I don't think I have ever used the large snowflake dies.  They are from Sizzix and needed to be dusted off before I could use them.  I hope you all have tools like that too, hope I'm not alone.  Not only is the paper new I purchased the Spellbinder Phase Set 2 with a coupon from Michaels.

I hope you are having a crafty day.  Today my card is using the digital stamp set Bitty Christmas from Doodle Pantry.  I colored the mugs and flipped one.  The sentiment also comes with this fun set.  I now need to get a coffee gift card and send it to my cousin and tell her I would love to have coffee with her in person right now!!  Do you have a friend that you miss terribly?  Send them a card and tell them that.  Love in the mail.

New Years Resolution

Merry Christmas!  Over at 4 Crafty Chicks they are asking us to share something on our projects that is part of our "New Years Resolutions".  I have been thinking about this for several months at the end of this year.  One of my resolutions this year is to show people how much they mean to me.  I have not been good lately about sending cards out.  That needs to change.  I have a goal to send out at least one card a week.  So this is my first of many "thinking of you" cards.  For no reason, just to let people know I care.  I'm going to work hard at this resolution to keep.

Christmas Cardinal

Only a week till Christmas.  I can't believe it!  Time is ticking down so quickly.  Today I have made a card using the 2 Cute Ink image called Winter Cardinal.  My grandparents love cardinals so this card will go to them.  This chubby little guy is just too cute.  I hope your Christmas cards are all done and mailed.  I am a little behind but I'm not going to let that get me down.  Hope your week is productive.

Baby Jesus Nuggets

Madi, my granddaughter, and I have been working on a project together.  You can tell by the picture below she is overjoyed with it.  The stamp set is very old and from a company that is no longer in business - I'm sad for that.  The set is called Baby Jesus Nuggets by Clear Dollar Stamps.  Madi goes to a private Christian school so this is her treat for their Christmas party on Friday.  I did all the stamping, Madi colored all the Baby Jesus' and cut them out.  The set also comes with a manger that you can stamp and cut out.  My first intention was to do that part also but....well, this was enough.  

This is a picture of all of them on a kitchen plate.  A total of 32.  Because we each ate one of the nuggets to make sure they would be a good treat for the class. 

I asked her to pick out her favorite one.  She said this one because of the beautiful stripes on the blanket and because I helped her cut it out.  I wish I would have taken pictures during the whole process but it was all I could do to keep the project going smoothly. Hehe

I always love a good pun.  Over at the Catch a Bug challenge they wanted to laugh.  So I when I was looking at my Bugaboo Images I thought this was cute.  This sweet little mouse is called Girl Mouse.  She is so sweet in her little dress and big bow.

Day 7 of Christmas Chaos

WooHoo!!  Today is the last day of the Christmas Chaos over at Bugaboo Images.  I made it - all seven days.  I wasn't able to craft every day but I did get all the projects done.  Today was freebie day and bingo day.  I used the line glitter, snowflakes, and non-traditional colors for Christmas.  I used the friday freebie Crabby Cat Christmas.  He is so crabby and cute all at the same time.

Day 6 of Christmas Chaos

Well, my Christmas Chaos is in full swing.  Just as I'm sure yours is.  But looking forward to making a project or card for Bugaboo has been been a fun part of the chaos.  Today is flashback day.  I took that very literal.  I looked through old images I already had printed out.  I found these Christmas Words - Joy.  The "J" and the ribbon were already colored - this would have been from at least last year.  The paper is...old old old.  I have no idea how long I have had it.  Plus it is the scrap from making the tag for Day 3.  The ribbon was a scrap - not even enough for a bow so just a knot had to due.  The sparkly circles are from years gone by now only two remain in the package and no I could not get rid of them.  They will hang around for another year I'm sure.  The stocking charm was in the charm stash - so your guess is as good as mine.  So this was a great clean up project and so much fun make.

Well, I really enjoyed some relaxing time in my craft room this evening.  Tonight was my Granddaughters Christmas program at school.  A fun start to the evening now listening to Christmas music on Pandora.  For my Day 5 of Christmas Chaos at Bugaboo I made a card using A Kids View Santa Tree.  I couldn't really figure out a "funny" Christmas card so I went with an image that made me chuckle.

Christmas Bulbs

Happy Friday!  I have a fun card to show you today.  I received two new stamps sets today in the mail from Newton's Nook Designs.  I used the set called Joyful Tags.  Aren't they just sweet!  I masked off the "joy" from the one bulb and stamped the holly and berries from another tag to come up with three different bulbs.  Perfect for a fun layout.

Sweet Gingerbread Girl

My granddaughter and I had a great time crafting together tonight.  However, I learned I need to be ready for crafting with her.  Planning a card takes time for me - she doesn't allow any time.  She wants to create now.  We used the image Girl Gingerbread - Cocoa from Bugaboo Images.  She loved her.  I picked the plaid paper - just to plain for her so she picked the flowers and hearts paper.  We started coloring at the same time I was barely started and she was done.  So I put my card aside and we finished her work of art.  She is so proud of it and I am glad.  She wrote a note to her teacher on the inside and is planning on giving it to her tomorrow at school.  She is in kindergarten.  I hope one day she will give me one of her cards so I can keep it in my craft room to remember these wonderful nights with her.
