I needed to take a break from Christmas cards but couldn't take a break from the red. My favorite color to use.  These fun coffee cups are from Doodle Pantry.  The cups and the sentiment are from a set called Spring Trimmings.

Fun giving penguin

I love making Christmas cards but I do have to admit I am about ready to move on to another season.  Anyone else feel like that too?  But, this card was a lot of fun to make and so so easy.  This cute penguin is from Doodle Pantry.  He belongs to a digital set called Winter Critters.  I love his fat belly, it makes me smile.

Eddie Elf Topper

Eddie Elf Topper is bringing my granddaughters Christmas candy from the North Pole.  This treat will be in her stocking when we celebrate Christmas together.  She just turned 3 a couple days ago so this is the only candy she will be receiving and how fun to have Eddie Elf hand deliver.  I just love the Christmas toppers from Digital Delights they are all so adorable.

Gingerbread Train Conductor

You know his next train stop will be Christmas Town.  Isn't he just darling.  This little guy is part of a digital set from Deedee's Digis.  When you participate in her challenge you will receive next month's image for free.  So I received this at the beginning of December and finally got to coloring him up he is part of the Gingerbread Train set.  I was so tempted to color his overalls blue but couldn't find any blue Christmas paper. But, I think he is just fine in red and green.

Critter Christmas

This adorable little puppy is from a brand new digital stamp set called Critter Friends just released this month from Doodle Pantry.  I have colored up the present for Christmas but this will also work perfectly for a birthday.  Depending on what kind of card you need to could easily make it for a boy or girl.  I love that kind of versitility.  I wrote on the pennant banner.

I have a thank you gift idea to show you today.  I purchased these Lindor Truffle bags from our Dollar Tree.  There is 3 truffles in the bag for $1.00.  I have to admit that I purchased all that the store had.  I knew I would use them someway. Such a nice little gift to give away.  The topper is from Digital Delights and I think she is just adorable.  She is called Gingerbread Topper she is part of a 4 character set called Christmas Toppers #2.  This turned out so cute I will probably be making more to give away.  They are just so fun.

Life's short...

Usually I'm not real chatty about my projects and cards but I have to chat this one up.  I had so much fun making this.  I made this as an ornament that could be hung on the Christmas tree. I used my sewing machine to sew on the pocket and across the top to hold the ribbon in place so it will hang on the tree.  I printed the coffee cup on coordinating paper so very little time was spent coloring.   In the little pocket will be a gift card for a local coffee shop.  My thought was to make this for one girlfriend that is a coffee nut but, I had so much fun making this that several people are going to be getting one of these cuties males and females.  The coffee cup and perfect sentiment are from Doodle Pantry, the set is called Coffee and Biscotti. This project came together so quickly and was well worth the time.  I know several people will enjoy this as a gift.

Fall is here

As I worked on this card tonight my whole attitude improved.  Not sure if it needed improving but this card sure did make me smile.  I loved working with the layout and this image was great to work with.  You probably recognize this adorable little ant from Doodle Pantry.  This leaf, ant, and sentiment are part of a digital stamp set called Falling Ants.  It was released last fall but perfect to bring back with all the wind we have been having here lately.

New digital stamps at Doodle Pantry

Yep, it's November 1st already.  The fun thing about a new month starting is that Laurie has a new digital stamp release at Doodle Pantry.  This month she is releasing 7 new digital sets and 4 SVG file sets.  I have used two of the new sets to make my card for today's release.  The barrels came from a set called Wild West Watering Hole and the Sheriff badge and sentiment came from a set called Old West Sheriff.  Both of these sets make great male cards for any ages.

Today I have a sweet pink and orange Christmas card to show you.  This fun image is from The Alley Way Stamps.  It is a freebie from them.  You can go their store and just copy it.  I used Microsoft Word to copy and flip the image so I would have a pair of mittens.  The sentiment is also a freebie.  Love the words from the song Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.  All this white was hard for me but I am happy with the outcome.
