Little Town of Bethlehem

Have you ever participated in a progressive challenge?  This is my first and I'm excited.  Lady Anne is hosting one and it just started this month so there is still time to participate.  This month the sponsor is Crafting with Jack.  One of the stamps I received from Lady Anne is below.  The stamp is called Bethlehem.  I decided since this is my first progressive I should jump all the way out of the box so I went with the color combo lime, white, and gray.  It was fun and I'm glad I did it.

I would like to submit this card into these challenges:

Blog Hop at Clear Dollar Stamps

Today starts our January blog hop from Clear Dollar Stamps.  To start off the year we are celebrating "something new". I am using the set from Lisa called Tweet Houses and am celebrating a new neighbor.  If you came here from Lisa's blog than you are on the right track.  If you just stopped by to say "hi" you will want to start at the beginning of the hop at the Clearly iStamp blog.  This month we are doing something different with prizes for the hop.  You need to leave a comment and every blog on the hop.  Also, make sure you leave your email because we all get to choose one winner from our own blog.  That winner will get the digital stamp set that is used on the blog.  So if you won off of my blog you would win this really fun set called Tweet Houses.  So you have several chances to win! =)

New Butterfly

I have to admit this is the worst start to a new year that I have ever had.  Everything seems to be going wrong.  Anyway, I have decided to change my attitude about everything.  Just the the Serenity Prayer, I am the only thing I can change.  Today I decorated a new journal. New attitude for a new journal.   Sounds good huh??  I used a digital set from Clear Dollar Stamps and it is called New Butterfly.  Perfect name to go with the new attitude.  The flower also comes with the set.  The butterfly also comes closed up separately also landing on the flower.  The set also come with four sentiments.

Below is a picture of the journal before I decorated it.  I purchased it last year after Christmas and it has been sitting around on a shelf in my craft room.  I think I paid 25cents for it.  Gotta love that! =)
