Snowman Poop

I have a fun project for you today.  I usually don't have this many pictures in my posts so bear with me.  I have made some adorable covers for a Tic Tac box.  The circles on the front and the snowman poop poem on the inside are Free - woohoo gotta love that!  The link to those are HERE.  Scroll down the link to find the snowman poop ones.   Now I did see this idea on you tube.  However, the gal that did the video her dimensions did not work at all for my tic tac boxes.  So I will give you my dimensions and how I made these.  First off, tic tac's come in different size boxes.  As you can see in the picture below.  The box I decorated was purchased by itself.  The box on the left came in a package of three containers.  So, before you go and cut and score all your covers make sure to measure your box.
My tic tac box is 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inch wide.   My paper is doubled sided paper.   My cover is 2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches long.  You will score at 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, and 4.  As you can see from the picture I places the cover just below the opening flap on top.  So that way you can keep the cover on the box and still get to the mints.  The little strip of paper, which is the other side of the paper, is 1/2 wide and 4 1/2 inch long.  I glued this on after I did the scoring and folding.  I did not score this little strip just folded it with the cover.
The string holding the cover closed is glued underneath the poem.  I used a brad to hold on the snowflake die.  The end of the string is wrapped around the brad underneath the poem.  The string then wraps around the box twice and wraps around the brad to hold the box closed.  You can see the string coming out from behind the poem in the picture below.
Lastly I had to show you a close up of the poem.  Not sure if you have seen this before but I loved this project and I am planning on making more.  But, I will need to change my dimensions for the smaller boxes.
